Fill next week's schedule

Get next week's schedule ready: the rides that happen every week are already there, so you only add what's new, make the regular slots repeat, and set who comes to them each week.

Steps

1. Open the Schedule in the week view and tap the ▶ arrow to move to next week. Rides that repeat are already in place, with their regulars booked.
2. Got a ride that should happen every week but was set up once? Open it, go to the Details tab and set Repeat to Weekly.
3. A Regulars card appears: the riders who come every week. Tap Add a regular and pick each one; the people On this ride are offered first. Choose their usual horse next to their name, or leave it empty. Tap Save changes and confirm with Make recurring. If that ride has already happened, the card doesn't appear: save the repeat, then add the regulars on next week's ride (step 5).
4. A new weekly slot? Tap Add ride, fill in the ride, set Repeat to Weekly, and add its Regulars in the card that appears. The panel tells you how many rides it will create. Tap Add ride to save.
5. Someone joins or leaves a group for good? Open the first ride the change applies to, change the Regulars card on the Details tab, and tap Save from … (the button shows that ride's date). Earlier rides stay as they were.
6. Someone misses just one week, or a friend comes along once? Make that change on the ride's Allocate & Settle tab instead: it affects that ride only, and the regulars stay as they are.
7. Switch to Day and step through the week. Anyone in the No horse row still needs a horse: drag their name onto one.

Next week is ready when every ride has its riders and the No horse row is empty.

If something's off

• A regular is on the ride without their horse. Their usual horse was busy at that time or had already worked enough. Pick another horse for them on Allocate & Settle or in the day view.
• Someone you took off for one week is coming after all. On that ride's Allocate & Settle tab, tap + Add rider. Regulars who aren't on it are listed first, under Regulars, and come back with their usual horse.

What you'll notice

• Regulars are booked onto the series' rides for the next three months, and later rides fill up as they come closer. On Allocate & Settle, a small gold marker under a name shows who's a regular.
• Riders don't get a message when you add them to the regulars or take them off. They simply see their rides in the app and get the usual reminder before each one. When you take someone off, their coming unpaid rides disappear from their app, so tell them yourself.
• Places that are already paid, by pass or otherwise, stay put when you take someone off the regulars. Nose tells you how many were left; remove them on the ride if you need to.
