Book, move or cancel a ride

Ask for a seat on a ride, change to another time, or cancel while it's still free.

Book a place on a ride, change to a different time, or cancel, all from your phone. Your barn confirms every booking, so a seat is only yours once they say yes.

Book a ride

  1. Open Schedule. Switch to Mine to see only your own rides, or All to see everything you could join.
  2. Tap the ride you want. If it has room, it shows Open seats and how many are left.
  3. Tap Request a seat. Add a note for the instructor in Message (optional) if you like, then tap Submit request.
  4. A short message confirms the request was sent, and it's listed under Requests as Pending. Once the barn confirms it, the ride shows You're signed up.

You can follow every request and every ride you've been on under Requests. To withdraw a request before the barn answers, open it there, tap Cancel request and then Yes, cancel.

Cancel a ride

Open the ride from your Dashboard, the Schedule or Requests. While free cancellation is still open, the ride says until when, and you'll see Cancel participation. Tap it only when you mean it: you may not be asked to confirm, and you're off the ride right away.

Your barn decides how close to the ride you can still cancel for free. After that, the button is gone and the ride says "Cancellation requires contacting the barn — the free-cancel window has closed." Message or call the barn instead.

Move to another time

There's no move button for riders. Instead:

  • request a seat on the ride you'd rather be on;
  • once it's confirmed, cancel the old one, while free cancellation is still open.

If the free-cancel time has already passed, ask the barn to move you.

If something's off

  • No Request a seat button. The ride is Full, it has already started, or your barn doesn't take requests in the app. Ask the barn directly. If you don't see Requests in your menu at all, the barn books riders itself.
  • "You already have a pending request for this ride." You've already asked. Wait for the barn's answer, or withdraw the request under Requests.
  • You're booking for your child. Pick the child in the switcher at the top first. You'll see Viewing: with their name while you're booking for them. Choose You (own account) to go back to your own rides. More in Book and pay for your children's rides.
  • Not a member of the barn yet. If the barn shares a public schedule, you can still ask to join a ride without an account. See Visiting a barn.

What you'll notice

  • You get an email when you send a request, and another when the barn confirms or declines it.
  • A request nobody answers in time expires by itself, and you get an email about that too.
  • When you cancel, the barn is told. If the ride was on your pass, you get that ride back on the pass.
  • If the barn moves or cancels the ride, you get an email. When the barn cancels, the ride goes back on your pass or voucher.
