Ask for a service and pay your boarding bill

For horse owners: order extra work for your horse, follow your request, and see and pay what you owe for boarding.

Your horse needs something the barn doesn't do every day, such as a clip, a blanket change or an extra feed, and you also want to know what you owe for boarding and pay it. Both happen under My horses in your menu.

Ask for a service and pay the bill

  1. Open My horses in the menu. If you have more than one horse, pick one with the switcher at the top, or stay on All horses.
  2. In Care & services, press Request a service.
  3. Choose the Service and the Date (and the Horse, if you have more than one). Add a note if it helps the barn.
  4. Press Send request. The request appears in Care & services right away.
  5. Changed your mind? Press Withdraw on that row, then Withdraw request. You can do this until the work is done.
  6. Check To pay at the top of the page. It lists every open charge with its due date. Anything late is marked overdue.
  7. Pay the barn the way you've agreed, for example in cash or by transfer. When they record your payment, the charge leaves To pay.
  8. Or, if you have Wallet in your menu and your barn takes payments online, you can pay there instead: press Pay what I owe (or Add funds to pay ahead).

To look back at past charges, scroll down to Statement at the bottom of the page and choose a period.

If something's off

  • There's no Request a service button. Either your horse's contract isn't active yet, or the barn hasn't opened any services for owners to order. Ask the barn.
  • Your request says Declined. The barn has turned it down. Ask them why if it isn't clear, and send a new request whenever you like.
  • You see the contract but no money. Only the person who pays for the contract sees charges and balance. The page names who that is.
  • A charge looks wrong. You can't change charges yourself. Ask the barn: when they correct it, you'll see the change on this page.

What happens by itself

  • The barn is told about your request as soon as you send it.
  • You get a message when the barn accepts or declines your request, and again when the work is done.
  • Once the work is done, the row shows Included in board if your plan covers it. Otherwise, if it's charged to you, it shows the price and the charge is added to your bill.
  • Every month the board charge appears on its own. You get a message when a new charge is issued, a reminder shortly before it's due, and a confirmation when your payment is recorded.

You can choose which of these messages you get in your account settings: Horse — care & documents covers your requests, and Boarding — charges & payments covers the bill.
